Through education and lived experiences, she became attuned to the ways stress, life transitions, and systemic inequities impact mental health and overall well-being. She is passionate about addressing mental health disparities and supporting individuals as they navigate complex emotional experiences, believing that healing is most powerful when a client feels seen and supported.

Destinee approaches counseling from a person-centered, integrative, and trauma-informed perspective, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, collaboration, and cultural humility within the therapeutic relationship. She incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic, and strengths-based approaches, while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs.

Destinee strives to create a space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, build insight, and develop practical coping skills at a pace that feels both empowering and respectful. She works with adolescents and adults, and is particularly drawn to supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related concerns, self-esteem challenges, and a variety of other concerns.
